    • Please check out nhoodeval.comfor more information and/or documents
    • The decision about what they are doing with the recommendations will be made public at the end of September through our exec team (keep an eye on your inbox for that).
      • • Following that announcement they willl return to talk about how the decisions impact Stinson (likely at the November meeting).

• • • HCF is a funding agency and is committed to continue a small grants program in Hamilton.

• Community Developer Update

• • • Terms of Reference proposals will be voted on at the AGM happening October 11th at 7-9PM at Central Memorial Recreation Centre
      • • Another meeting will be held in the first week of October following the NAS announcement
        • Endorsement policy pilot will be up for voting.

• Councillor’s Announcement/Questions

• • • Stephen Rowe – Ward 3 City Council Candidate posed the question of whether councillors should attend neighbourhood meetings…
      • • The attendants discussed the pros and cons of this
        • Alaine Bureau stated he thinks it should be through invitation, and gladly attend.
        • Both were pro creation of a Ward 3 Community City Council.
        • Mark Tennant also had thoughts that it would be neighbourhood driven and being accessible is important to him.
        • All were very clear they wanted to be accessible and listen.

• Treasurer’s Update

• • • To be sent once available.
    • Accounting Clean Up question was posed related to reallocating some of the reserved funds
    • A motion was made for up to $350 of the kids event reserve to be earmarked for the Bike Rodeo, and any unused funds to be returned to the general account.
      • • This motion was seconded and passed with unanimous yeses and no abstentions.
    • A motion was made to move the funds from Jason Farr to the general account.
      • • This motion was seconded and passed with unanimous yeses and no abstentions.
    • It was decided that the neighbourhood will revisit the mural account

• What’s going on in Stinson?

• • • Ward 2 Debate – September 19, 2018
    • Ward 3 Debatewith Crown Point – October 8th 7pm at the Pearl Theatre
      • • A motion was made for the Stinson logo to be associated with the event and $100 to pitch in towards the event.
          • • This motion was seconded and passed with unanimous yeses and no abstentions.

    • Bike Fair and Rodeo – September 22, 2018 at Carter Park
      • • Hamilton Helmet Initiative, etc…
        • Need someone to determine how we distribute the prizes? Email Cathy Sunderland
        • Volunteers are need in general.
        • Ward boundaries maps will be provided.

• • • Beautiful Alleys– September 22

• • • Public Hearing for 467 Charlton
      • • Thursday September 20th, 2018
        • 1:45PM in Rooms 193 & 193, 1st Floor

• • • Community Council Ward 2 – 6-8pm in council chambers (room 264)
      • • Karl to action these:
          • • Raise the boundary concerns and lack of community education
            • Stop sign at Wellington and Stinson was asked for and a pedestrian crossing was added.
            • HPS – need speed enforcement on Stinson St.
            • Grant Ave. needing speed enforcement between Stinson and Delaware (it is the used to cut around the light at Wentworth) – need a petition (Margaret is the champion)
            • Street safety audit with the city…
    • Advertise the ward changes on facebook
      • • $100 on targeted social media to provide education was motioned.
          • • This motion was seconded and passed with unanimous yeses and no abstentions.
