2014 Neighbourhood Leadership Initiative Opportunity

Good day,

One of the agenda items for this upcoming SCA general meeting is for Sarah Glen coordinator of the ‘Neighbourhood Leadership Initiative’ (NLI) to speak about a great leadership opportunity. The training program is available for a maximum of two Stinson residents who either have a project for which they would like to move through the process or an interest in leadership.

1. An application form is required to be completed (attached). Rebecca Doll has volunteered to assist the candidates with their applications. Neighbourhood Leadership Initiative Application Guidelines & Form

Deadline for applications is January 17^th
Candidates shall be a resident of the Neighbourhood Action Strategies focus communities, over the age of 18, in Hamilton, Ontario.

2. The NLI will offer eight leadership training sessions every two weeks for four months running February – June.

3. Selected candidates will receive 1 college credit upon successful completion of the program
